Pump 2 keeps tripping the OL relay - even after reset. Checked
voltage, looks balanced.
Running a 15 HP submersible on a lift station. OL relay trips within
30 seconds of starting in Manual. Power event yesterday. Amps seem high but we don't
have a clamp meter handy. Any ideas before we call the contractor?

Anyone using Ignition SCADA for a small water system? Looking for
advice on tag structures.
We're upgrading from a legacy HMI to Ignition 8.1. I'm trying to
figure out the best way to organize our UDTs for a 3-well water system with 2 tanks.
Would love to see how others have structured their projects for regulatory reporting
too.

Sudden DO crash in aeration basin - MLSS looks fine but effluent TSS
is climbing
We had a 2-hour power outage. Aeration came back up but DO dropped to
0.4 mg/L and won't recover past 1.1 even with blowers at 100%. We're at about 3,200 mg/L
MLSS. Effluent TSS has gone from 8 to 22 mg/L over the past 12 hours. Anyone seen this
post-power scenario?

Hach LDO probe reading 1.2 mg/L below portable YSI - calibration
issue or sensor drift?
Our online DO probe has been consistently reading about 1.2 mg/L
below our portable YSI after a membrane change. I've recalibrated it twice using the air
saturation method. I'm wondering if there's a temperature compensation difference
between the two units or if the membrane needs more soak time.
Blowers
Rotary lobe blower vibrating hard on startup - bearing wear or air
filter restriction?
2017 Roots blower, 75 HP. Heavy vibration only during startup and for
about 10 seconds, then smooths out. Vibration analysis isn't in our budget right now.
Filters are 3 months old. RPM seems normal per the VFD. Is it worth checking the
coupling alignment first?

What's your preventive maintenance schedule for submersible pumps at
a lift station?
Looking to build a solid PM program for our 6 lift stations.
Currently we do annual inspections and check runtime hours on the SCADA. I want to add
oil inspections, amp checks, and vibration baselines. What intervals do you all use and
what software are you tracking it in?
